Terry Fehr

Terry Fehr, B.A., M.Ed. (R.Psych) Terry completed her Master’s Degree in Educational Psychology in 1994 at the University of Regina. She has extensive experience as an educator, a psychologist and an administrator. Over the past 25+ years, she has provided service to individuals, couples, groups and families, both as a private practitioner and within an institutional context. Her experience with the Correctional Service of Canada has given her unique insight into the social and political context within which mental health challenges occur in the community, and the long-term, adverse effects of trauma on the individual and consequently on our culture. Terry’s practise of psychology is informed by a broad spectrum of theoretical and strategic treatment modalities, including Mindfulness Integrated Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Integrated Somatic Psychology and Polyvagal Theory. She has completed her third year of Somatic Experiencing training and plans to become a certified SE practitioner by the end of 2023. Over the years, Terry has worked with clients from all aspects of society. At this point in her career, she is particularly interested in serving front line workers in the areas of Education, Health, Justice, Law Enforcement and Corrections. Terry is optimistic and approachable. She engages easily with clients and has an affable, authentic manner. She is spiritually grounded and a firm believer in the profound importance of love-in-action and the healing power of humour. In her leisure time, Terry loves to play guitar and sing, jamming and performing at any opportunity. It is her intention to serve her community until she retires… sometime around noon on the day of her funeral.

Julie Vacca

Julie Vacca is a seasoned therapist with a rich and diverse background in psychology and counselling. After completing her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of Alberta in 2002, Julie pursued her passion for art therapy, earning a graduate-level diploma from the Toronto Art Therapy Institute in 2007. Driven by a deep desire to expand her knowledge and skills, Julie returned to school in 2021 to complete a Master’s in Counselling Psychology, further enriching her therapeutic expertise.
With years of experience in mental health and addiction settings, Julie has honed her skills in working with clients of all ages, from children to adults. She has a particular interest in supporting individuals who have experienced addiction and trauma, drawing from her comprehensive understanding of these complex issues to provide specialized guidance and care.
Julie’s journey with art has been deeply intertwined with her personal and professional growth. As a child, she found solace and expression through art and today, her artwork serves as a reflection of beauty and inspiration in the world. Julie views art as a powerful tool for self-care, self-reflection and exploration, incorporating it into her therapeutic practice to offer clients a unique avenue for healing and growth.
In her work, Julie takes a holistic approach that goes beyond traditional talk therapy. She seamlessly integrates evidence-based practices with creative interventions and energetic healing techniques, tailoring her approach to meet each client’s individual needs and preferences. Whether she’s guiding clients through addiction recovery, trauma healing, or other mental health challenges, Julie provides compassionate support and guidance to help them navigate life’s complexities with resilience and strength.
